Ultimate Dog Leash

Do yourself a favor and forget about getting any lease made by "Flexi". They are complete garbage, I went through 3 of them and 1 time the leash snapped near the ring and my dog ran out into the road. I emailed them pictures and everything...didnt give a a crap not even a response.

Fast forward to finding this leash made my Kong and I figured it had to be strong as their toys are the only things my heavy chewer doesnt shred. Well it's been a month that I've had it, and it's already outlasted flexi by 2 weeks and is made so much better and so much stronger.

For anyone who has a bigger, strong dog that likes to chase after any wildlife he may encounter, this is by far the leash for you!

KONG Retractable Leash is comfortable to hold and seems to be very good quality. I have bought other KONG products and they have all been top quality. My dog weighs 70 lbs and is always pulling and hunting squirrels so I had my doubts with any retractable leash but this one is exactly what I was looking for. The lock mechanism seems strong but I wont let the slack in the out leash 100% as a precaution... I use a pinch collar with this leash as well. No regrets on my purchase. My only complaint would be I would like to have some type of a wristband so the leash cannot get jerked out of my hand...

We have always found Kong products to be a step above other products. This leash is no exception. It is strong, smooth to operate, and very easy to hold. As expected, it meets and exceeds Kong product expectations. If you have a larger dog, I would highly recommend this leash for walking that particular dog. The operation is smooth and the locking button is easy to operate.

After our husky puppy chewed through 2 other leashes in a week, we bought this with low expectations for it lasting very long, but it's still going strong after several months!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have a 130lb Newfoundland girl pup. Been using this for a month. I trust it wholeheartedly, its convenient to keep her very close as I live in an apartment community and also to let roam ahead to sniff or get through doors we can't get through together. Newfies can pull boats to shore and tow multiple people in water, mine is very strong and this has stood up to her running or being very excited or bearing down and pulling to get away from something or towards something. if it works for me it has to work for you.

Best retractable leash that can withstand a lot, I am replacing my old Kong leash as I have dropped it repeatedly, ran it over, dog took off dragging and banging it. It still works great after many years, however due to how beat up it looks I am replacing it for cosmetic reasons only :)

As an animal rescue, we focus on exotic pets (birds, bunnies, reptiles) but we keep finding strays or people drop off dogs and cats. Lately the dumped or neglected dogs have been 100+ pounds each. This leash allows them to run and play at much greater distance than a standard leash. Kong is a brand we trust. Our big fur kids wear out retractable leashes rather quickly. In just a couple of months they’ve tried their best to kill them. Kong dog walks are very reliable.
